We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Baddeley of DB Equestrian for our upcoming arena eventing clinic, being held at The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead.
With over 30 years of riding experience, Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge to our clinic. He began his equestrian journey as a dressage rider, competing all the way up to Prix St. Georges. It was while training a client and friend who made it all the way to Badminton that Daniel caught the eventing bug himself. His passion for the sport led him to ride at the advanced level and train riders from Under-21s to grassroots to level.
Trained at the renowned Talland School of Equitation, Daniel holds his BHS Intermediate Riding and Instructors qualifications. While he now focuses on show jumping, competing regularly at the 1.30m level, he loves working with riders of all abilities and enjoys the challenge of training young horses for their first shows.

Ready to Refine Your Dressage Test?
Join us for a dressage clinic with the brilliant Louise Evans Dressage at Holt Farm Equestrian.! This is the perfect opportunity for riders working towards an Intro, Prelim, or Novice test.
You’ll get a personalised 45-minute session in a small group of no more than two riders. The clinic is designed to help you perfect a specific test. You’ll start by riding through your test, then work with Louise on refining movements and developing precision, before a final run through to practice your new skills. This is the perfect preparation for the upcoming winter series!
Clinics will start from 10am, and your exact time will be confirmed the week before the event. If you have a preference over morning or early afternoon, please add a note to your entry or contact our Treasurer on the number below.

Some of the questions we’ve had so far are answered below, but do comment or message us if you have any others!
– All classes are in the sand school
– The venue is outside of ULEZ
– Class 1 – you DO NOT have to canter. Numbers are restricted and at a lower numbers than other classes to allow extra space.
– Classes – 2,7,8 are open to all and horse /ponies of all types.
– Class 9 – Mountain & Moorland. To include part bred and of M&M type, you do not have to be registered.
– Coloured Classes include Palomino, Dunn & Spotted . Plaited and Native
