Purpose
This policy sets out the terms and conditions for the hire of jumping equipment owned by Warlingham & District Horse Club (WDHC).
- Location and Use
All hired jumps must be used exclusively at Warren Barn Farm
Jumps must not be removed from the premises under any circumstances
Hirers are responsible for setting up and dismantling jumps safely
- Hire Charges
Daily hire rate: £75 per full day (or part thereof)
Payment must be made in advance at the point of booking
Payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking
- Cancellation Policy
7 days or more notice: Full refund issued
Less than 7 days notice: 50% refund issued
No notice/same day cancellation: No refund issued
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation notification.
- Access
A security code for the storage shed will be provided upon confirmation of booking and receipt of payment
The code must not be shared with non-hirers
The shed must be securely locked after collection and return of equipment
- Hirer Responsibilities
Equipment Care
Hirers must inspect all equipment before use
Equipment must be returned clean and in the same condition as collected
All jumps must be returned to the storage shed at the end of the hire period
Damage Reporting
Any damage to hired equipment must be reported to WDHC within 24 hours of occurrence
Damage reports should be sent to secretary@wdhc.org.uk
Photographic evidence of damage should be provided where possible
- Damage and Repairs
The hirer is responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of damaged equipment
WDHC will obtain quotes for repairs/replacement and provide these to the hirer
Payment for damages must be made within 14 days of invoice
Deliberate damage or negligence may result in refusal of future bookings
- Liability
Hirers use the equipment entirely at their own risk
WDHC accepts no liability for any injury or damage arising from the use of hired equipment
Hirers are advised to ensure they have appropriate insurance cover, copies may be requested by The Club.
Supervision of riders using hired equipment is the sole responsibility of the hirer

Hire is subject to confimation by The Club, we reserve the right to not hire the jumps at any time if circumstances require. (eg maintenance, prebooked event, member use or other circumstances at The Club discretion). Please wait for confirmation from The Club secretary before scheduling any events that require use of the jumps.

By making a booking, the hirer confirms they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms of this Jump Hire Policy.
